FIRST FRUITS PROGRAM
First Fruits is a small group program for couples or single parents. You can start a small group in your home, school, or parish. We call our small group meetings a “First Fruits Gathering”. First Fruits Gatherings happen once a month, and each group decides the timeline that fits their needs.
What Happens at a First Fruits Gathering?
Step 1: Watch Fr. John Bartunek
Watch Fr. John Bartunek bring a Guiding Principle to life through God’s story. This short video will introduce you to the guiding principle through scripture, followed by guided discussion.
Step 2: A Parent’s Testimony.
This short video is a personal testimony of one family’s story, showing how the Guiding Principle was learned and lived in their home. After this short video, there is guided discussion.
Step 3: Let's Get Practical! A True Audio Story
Listen to a personal testimony of a true event that happened in someone’s family. Consider how the same Guiding Principle was put into action through the day to day. This short audio is followed by guided discusssion.
Step 4: A Weekly First Fruit Pause
Take time for a First Fruits 15 minutes pause, texted to your phone each week. Practice the Guiding Principle at home and discover the unique story that God is writing in your family!
